Velvet Punk Dynasty

Developed through my close involvement across both design and product development, the Peng Caesar collection explored a dialogue between punk romanticism and refined craftsmanship, centered around velvet outerwear with a raw yet elevated presence.

From sourcing high-quality Italian fabrics to refining finishes and subtle detailing, the development process was guided by a strong focus on texture, construction, and attitude. Produced in Portugal, the pieces embodied a tactile sophistication that naturally resonated with figures such as Iggy Pop.

The brand initially focused on menswear, a direction in which I was closely involved across design and product development, helping shape its material language, silhouettes, and overall attitude over the first years on the market.

The collection was successfully launched at Bread & Butter in Berlin, marking an important moment in the brand’s visibility and international positioning.

Featured here are CAD designs developed by me, serving as a crucial bridge between concept and production. These technical drawings translate creative intent into precise construction details, ensuring accuracy in fit, proportion, and execution throughout the garment-making process.
